System Architecture & Implementation
BMCTH (Birat Medical College & Teaching Hospital) is a modern hospital website concept designed to improve access to healthcare information through a responsive, user-friendly digital interface.
Project Overview:
The website focuses on simplifying access to hospital information, emergency contacts, appointment-related links, medical departments, and location details. Its layout prioritizes essential healthcare services and clear navigation across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Frontend Architecture:
The interface uses structured web content, semantic HTML, responsive layouts, and organized navigation to deliver a consistent user experience. Content sections are arranged to help visitors find important information quickly and efficiently.
User Experience and Accessibility:
The design emphasizes clear visual hierarchy, prominent emergency information, keyboard-navigation considerations, and a skip-to-main-content link. A Nepali language-toggle interface supports localized access to information.
Third-Party Integration:
An embedded Google Maps interface provides location guidance, while telephone links enable direct calling on supported devices. External links provide navigation to relevant services and resources.
Deployment and Hosting:
The website is deployed on Netlify, providing cloud-based hosting for the frontend application.
Technical Scope:
This project demonstrates frontend development, responsive UI/UX design, accessibility-conscious implementation, localization interface design, third-party embedding, and website deployment. It is a concept project and should not be considered an official hospital platform or a production medical system.
